Riverdell offers a 12-bed secured dementia care unit with specially trained staff to meet the needs of those with Alzheimer’s and related dementia.  On our Special Care Unit, we offer dementia related activities, their own private dining room and courtyard.  In addition, Riverdell Care Center offers extensive wound care services, bariatric services, IV therapy and On-site laboratory and radiology services, eye exams are available, we also provide for any mental health needs,
 We work with numerous hospice agencies to offer respite care services to allow caregivers a break from the 24-hour care they provide. We have 3 local physicians who also bring the expertise of their own nurse practitioners to offer a full array of physician services. 

Our facility offers 24-hour professional care and accepts weekend admissions. We offer wireless internet services and a full beauty shop with a licensed beautician in the facility.  Transportation is always available for appointments.  When your therapy stay is complete, our social services department will assist you with discharge planning and your transition back to the community.   Please call 660-882-7600 for more information.  Tours are available and welcome 7 days a week.  So, feel free to stop by for a visit any time!
